ALEXANDRU CIUBOTARIU, or just Ciubi as he's often called, is one of Romania's best-known and most prolific illustrators. As well as holding down a steady job doing illustrations for a number of high-profile magazines, he's been published in foreign comics compilations, such as Stripburger and Argh! Ciubi started out doing comics in the seaside town of Contanta, alongside a local crew of comic fans.
